1. How to Spread Bet on Amgen shares?

Investments don’t always go to plan. Had the market failed to move as forecast, and had the Amgen shares decreased in value, with the spread decreasing to $56.18 - $56.27, then you might choose to close your position and prevent further losses by selling at $56.18.
- Buy price = $56.86
- Loss = (Closing Level - Opening Level) x stake
- Loss = ($56.18 - $56.86) x £2 per cent
- Loss = -$0.68 x £2 per cent
- Loss = -68¢ x £2 per cent
- Loss = -£136 loss
