1. How to Spread Bet on Comcast shares?

- Initial buy price = $15.94
- P&L = (Closing Price - Opening Price) x stake
- P&L = ($16.20 - $15.94) x £3 per cent
- P&L = $0.26 x £3 per cent
- P&L = 26¢ x £3 per cent
- P&L = £78 profit
Investments don’t always go to plan. If the trade didn’t work as planned, and had the Comcast stock decreased in price, with the spread decreasing to $15.66 - $15.69, then you could decide to settle your bet and prevent any further losses by selling at $15.66.
- Price you bought the spread bet at: $15.94
- P&L = (Closing Price - Opening Price) x stake
- P&L = ($15.66 - $15.94) x £3 per cent
- P&L = -$0.28 x £3 per cent
- P&L = -28¢ x £3 per cent
- P&L = -£84 loss
