1. How to Spread Bet on Credit Agricole shares?
At the moment, the price of the Credit Agricole Rolling Daily market is €11.97 - €12.00 with Paddypowertrader.
Like many equities listed on the European stock exchanges, you can spread bet on the Credit Agricole shares to go up or down. With the Credit Agricole Rolling Daily market, investors can bet on:
a) Credit Agricole shares to move higher than €12.00, or
b) Credit Agricole shares to move lower than €11.97.

- As a result, you decide you want to go long of the market at €12.00 and you invest £4 per cent
- The share price rises and so the spread changes to €12.36 - €12.39
- With this new price you might choose to take your profit and close your bet. You would do this by selling at €12.36
- Initial price you bought the spread bet at: €12.00
- Profit/Loss = (Closing Level - Opening Level) x stake
- Profit/Loss = (€12.36 - €12.00) x £4 per cent stake
- Profit/Loss = €0.36 x £4 per cent stake
- Profit/Loss = 36c x £4 per cent stake
- Profit/Loss = £144 profit
Spread betting does not always go to plan. If the trade did not move as planned, and had the Credit Agricole share price decreased, with the spread dropping to €11.67 - €11.70, then you might decide to close your position and prevent further losses by selling at €11.67.
- You bought the spread bet at €12.00
- Profit/Loss = (Closing Level - Opening Level) x stake
- Profit/Loss = (€11.67 - €12.00) x £4 per cent stake
- Profit/Loss = -€0.33 x £4 per cent stake
- Profit/Loss = -33c x £4 per cent stake
- Profit/Loss = -£132 loss
