1. How to Spread Bet on Daimler shares?
Currently, the price of the Daimler Rolling Daily market is €36.68 - €36.74 with spread betting firms like Tradefair.
As with most large cap equities listed on the European stock exchanges, investors can bet on the Daimler shares to rise or fall. With the Daimler Rolling Daily market, an investor can spread bet on:
a) Daimler shares to go above €36.74, or
b) Daimler shares to go below €36.68.

- As a result, you could decide to take your profit and close your bet. In order to do this you would sell at €37.29
- Initial price you bought the spread bet at: €36.74
- P&L = (Closing Price - Opening Price) x stake
- P&L = (€37.29 - €36.74) x £2 per cent
- P&L = €0.55 x £2 per cent
- P&L = 55c x £2 per cent
- P&L = £110 profit
Investments don’t always go to plan. If the trade did not work as forecast, and had the Daimler stock decreased in price, with the market dropping to €36.23 - €36.29, then you might decide to settle your bet and prevent any further losses. To do this you would sell at €36.23.
- Price you bought the spread bet at: €36.74
- P&L = (Closing Price - Opening Price) x stake
- P&L = (€36.23 - €36.74) x £2 per cent
- P&L = -€0.51 x £2 per cent
- P&L = -51c x £2 per cent
- P&L = -£102 loss
