1. How to Spread Bet on Electronic Arts shares?

- Buy price: $16.56
- P&L = (Closing Level - Opening Level) x stake
- P&L = ($16.85 - $16.56) x £3 per cent stake
- P&L = $0.29 x £3 per cent stake
- P&L = 29¢ x £3 per cent stake
- P&L = £87 profit
Nevertheless, if the market failed to move as forecasted, and had the Electronic Arts shares decreased in price, with the spread dropping to $16.29 - $16.32, then you could decide to settle your position and prevent any further losses. To do this you would sell at $16.29.
- Price you bought the market at: $16.56
- P&L = (Closing Level - Opening Level) x stake
- P&L = ($16.29 - $16.56) x £3 per cent stake
- P&L = -$0.27 x £3 per cent stake
- P&L = -27¢ x £3 per cent stake
- P&L = -£81 loss
