Currently, the price of the Intel Corporation Rolling Daily market is $19.78 - $19.81 with companies such as Paddy Power.

b) Intel Corporation shares to fall below $19.78.
It should be noted that with the Intel Corporation market you trade in £X per cent, where a cent is 1¢ of Intel Corporation share price movement. As a quick example, if you were to invest £4 per cent and the Intel Corporation shares move 4¢ then that would be a difference to your profits/losses of £16.
Intel Corporation Equities Spread Betting Example
As an example, let’s say you see the real time price on a spread trading website and it gives the current spread of $19.78 - $19.81. So, following your analysis of the markets, you may think that the Intel Corporation share price will increase and go higher than $19.81. This would mean:
- You think that the Intel Corporation shares should increase
- Therefore, you decide you are going to ‘buy’ the market at $19.81 and you bet £2 per cent
- The share price increases and the spread becomes $20.35 - $20.38
- With this new spread you may choose to guarantee a profit and close your bet. In order to do this you would sell at $20.35
- You bought the spread bet at $19.81
- P&L = (Closing Price - Opening Price) x stake
- P&L = ($20.35 - $19.81) x £2 per cent
- P&L = $0.54 x £2 per cent
- P&L = 54¢ x £2 per cent
- P&L = £108 profit
Investments don’t always go to plan. If the market failed to move as planned, and had the Intel Corporation share price decreased, with the spread moving down to $19.31 - $19.34, then you might decide to close your position and restrict your losses. You would do this by selling at $19.31.
- Initial buy price = $19.81
- P&L = (Closing Price - Opening Price) x stake
- P&L = ($19.31 - $19.81) x £2 per cent
- P&L = -$0.50 x £2 per cent
- P&L = -50¢ x £2 per cent
- P&L = -£100 loss
