1. How to Spread Bet on Qualcomm shares?
At the time of writing, the price of the Qualcomm Rolling Daily market is $39.02 - $39.09 with paddypowertrader.
Like the majority of leading equities listed on the stock exchanges like the New York Stock Exchange, an investor can place a spread bet on the Qualcomm shares to rise or fall in value. With this Qualcomm Rolling Daily market, investors can speculate on:
a) Qualcomm shares to increase higher than $39.09, or
b) Qualcomm shares to decrease lower than $39.02.

- Price you bought the market at: $39.09
- P&L = (Closing Level - Opening Level) x stake
- P&L = ($39.72 - $39.09) x £2 per cent
- P&L = $0.63 x £2 per cent
- P&L = 63¢ x £2 per cent
- P&L = £126 profit
Spread bets don’t always go to plan. Had the market failed to move as predicted, and had the Qualcomm stock decreased in value, with the market moving down to $38.41 - $38.48, then you can decide to settle your position and prevent any more losses. You would do this by selling at $38.41.
- Initial price you bought the spread bet at: $39.09
- P&L = (Closing Level - Opening Level) x stake
- P&L = ($38.41 - $39.09) x £2 per cent
- P&L = -$0.68 x £2 per cent
- P&L = -68¢ x £2 per cent
- P&L = -£136 loss
