Moving Average / Moving Average Crossover
A Moving Average is the average price of a market over a specified period of time.
The Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) line is a trend-following momentum indicator that shows the relationship between a fast and slow exponential moving average.
A Bearish Moving Average Crossover occurs when a fast moving average crosses a slow moving average from above. This shows that the price has been moving down in recent periods and is a bearish signal that a downtrend may be starting
A Bullish Engulfing Candlestick - This is a bullish signal which indicates that the price may rise in the next trading session.
A Bullish MACD Crossover occurs when the MACD moves above its trigger line (i.e. the MACD’s 9-day EMA) from below. This is seen as a bullish signal as it indicates that an uptrend may be starting
RSI
RSI Oversold - The RSI oscillates from 0 - 100, but if it goes into the 0 - 30 range, it is seen as oversold. This occurs after a period of downward price movement and is a bullish signal as the RSI is believed to be unsustainable at those low levels and may reverse.
RSI Oversold is a bullish signal which indicates that the recent downward price movement is unsustainable and may reverse soon.
RSI Overbought - The RSI oscillates from 0 - 100, but if it goes into the 70 - 100 range, it is seen as overbought. This occurs after a period of upward price movement and is a bearish signal as the RSI is believed to be unsustainable at those high levels and may reverse.
RSI Overbought is a bearish signal which indicates that the recent upward price movement is unsustainable and may reverse soon.
Bollinger Bands
Bollinger Bands are two lines representing the upper and lower trading range. They are positioned two standard deviations away from the price’s moving average and are used to measure volatility and indicate potential high and low price points.
Upper Bollinger Band Broken - a bearish signal which indicates that the recent upward price movement is unsustainable and may reverse soon.
